In the first quarter of 2025, the hypercasual gaming sector in Kenya saw notable trends across the top-performing applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Bus Simulator : Ultimate by Zuuks Games maintained a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 3.3K and peaking at 5.3K by the end of March. This growth was mirrored in its weekly active users, which climbed from 14.4K to 16.8K. Revenue fluctuated slightly, reaching approximately $99 in the final week.

Kick Monster: Kill Buddy Punch from Pixeland OU experienced a decline in weekly downloads, dropping from 829 to a low of 38 mid-quarter, before a slight recovery to 102. Active users showed a gradual decrease from 4.1K to 2.4K. Revenue remained stable, averaging around $60.

Truckers of Europe 3, developed by Wanda Software, saw a strong finish with weekly downloads increasing from 4.7K to over 5.1K. Active users initially declined but rebounded to reach 31.2K. Revenue showed an upward trend, ending at $90.

Screw Out: Nuts and Bolts by iKame Games - Zego Studio, had its downloads taper off early in the quarter. Active users followed suit, decreasing from 478 to 58. Despite this, revenue surged in March, peaking at $131.

Lastly, Thread Jam - Untangle 3D Ropes by SayGames Ltd showed minimal download activity throughout the quarter. Active users remained low, hovering around 36. Revenue, however, saw notable spikes, particularly in mid-March with a peak of $190.
